Eden
Main-on-End Title Sequence
A main-on-end title sequence for the survival thriller Eden, built entirely from stills of a film that wasn't yet picture-locked.
Eden follows a US soccer team stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, forced into ever harder choices to survive. Layer83 designed and animated its main-on-end title sequence.
It was a low-budget brief with no assets beyond the feature itself, and the cut wasn't picture-locked at the time. So we built the sequence from stills pulled from the film, treating them with texture, weathering and smoke so they read as fragments of memory. Running through the end credits, they retell the story of the film from the crash to the island.
